Seems Deadwait realizes that size matters
He’s created  anew live CD running the FluxBox lightweight window manager. This livecd does not include GNS3 though . Maybe he will roll this together eventually.
As per the post on his blog ..
ok this is a very light version of slax with only fluxbox as a manager and dynagen [...]

DynaSlax, DynaSlaxGNS3 and DynaSlaxUSB LiveCDs

Well .. It seems that someone has put some hard work into creating 3 awesome livecds. He’s (deadwait) built and tested Dynamips/Dynagen and GNS3 in the livecd and USB key formats. They are called DynaSlax, DynaSlaxGNS3 and I call the last DynaSlaxUSB
No official docs for the USB or GNS3 version yet. I [...]
