Topology: Cisco Networkers 2008 - LABCRT-2106-OSPF-Start
Written by LBSources from http://www.gns3-labs.com on August 28th, 2008 | 9 CommentsWe have another great helper to the site. Mike Litka has shared a topology he put together while at Cisco Networkers 2008.
He also put these labs together using the DynaSlaxGNS3 livecd. He has always had issues with GNS3 crashing on his pc, but since using the livecd he’s had no problems at all. Give the livecd a shot if you’re having performance issues.
As per Mike:
If you were at Cisco Live! / Networkers this year or have access to the online content the attached lab topology can be used with LABCRT-2106.
Cisco Networkers 2008 - CCNP/IP Prep Lab: Simulation Labs

Hi, thank you for the stuff. I noticed that the configurations do not contain OSPF, what is the link to access to “Cisco Networkers 2008 - CCNP/IP Prep Lab: Simulation Labs”.
Best regards.
P.S : i have an account to cisco.com

@Youssef -
I just checked the Cisco Live! Virtual site and they aren’t on there. I thought they would be posted along with the other content from Networkers. I just shot off an email to Cisco to find out the status.

Since Cisco won’t post the lab and it wasn’t included on the USB key, can you post the labs here please? What gives with GNS3-labs.com not having 3/4 of the lab instructions. Also Router R5 doesn’t have a cnfg line.

Hey Jim .. I don’t really post the labs with the scenario, its a bonus if I do have it and can provide it. But you are right with the configs, they should be included.. Let me check with mlitka.

Jim, I just looked at the archives and I see a config file for R5 .. Can you please elaborate on what your problem is?

Thanks for the feedback. I was just commenting that the labs aren’t quite as useful without some sort of goal or example of what you are trying to accomplish. I would hate to see GNS3-labs.com just become an dumping ground and advertisement for commercial certifications.
Regarding the config file. The CRT2106-OSPF-Start.net is missing a cnfg line pointing to the configuration for Router R5.

Jim .. This site will never become a certification advertising harvesting site. Sure I have ads up and they are to pay the bills. Otherwise I try to post full labs, sometimes I may miss some particulars, but I try to correct them when brought to my attention - I’m only human.
This site contains some text-book type labs and some labs which are real world scenarios which I construct for real deployments.
If anything this site will grow and become richer in content and labs. Having members like you which contribute and are passionate will follow me and make this site a great place.
As I get closer to dedicating time to CCNP training of my own - the labs will get better; whilst having members donating their own labs until I begin doing so on a full time basis.
Thanks for the concern Jim and I hear you - the .net in the link above has been fixed

Thanks for the update. This site is on the road to becoming an indispensible tool for everyone on the road to certification and a great resource for those in the field. I appreciate all of your hard work in putting this together and taking feedback on corrections.

Jim thanks for the compliment! I hope it does help everyone with their eye on the prize! As I excel into the next level certifications, I will post the labs and my own real world used labs. I plan to reach the CCIE number, so this site will harvest MANY MANY labs!
