Hi,
I have used the above topology, assigned correct ip addresses, but I can’t wither my ethernet or loopback interfaces. I have also opened access for icmp traffic on both inside and outside interface. the same topology with a router works fine. cloud - router - cloud. Any ideas why it’s not working?
also why I can’t connect directly to the cloud the pix’s interfaces?
thanks,
george

Its same case with me too, I even tried a simpler topology
cloud(PC lo:10.1.1.2; GW:10.1.1.1)> switch> pix 7.2(inside e1:10.1.1.1)
unable to ping from pc to pix inside interface or vice versa.
I’m running GNS30.6 on winxp, have tried
debug icmp trace
icmp permit any echo inside
icmp permit any echo-reply inside
wireshark capture shows no echo request form pix
Please help..
